The most thing ppl consider will be there is no wireless in this notebook (anyway.. u can simply get a usb one below rm100) so it isnt a problem. but i wonder why there are still wireless button on the notebook? =.=

ok.. for those who bought this notebook and wish to install Window themself,
what u should notice as below.

i suggest to install Windows xp as many of my friend already complained for slow performance for vista for an 512Mb RAM device..
(i installed XP and it works well :) )

1. go into BIOS (press f10 when u start your comp and saw the first screen) and disable 'SATA native support'
2. Install windows XP

3. Identify your chipset (Option)
http://downloadmirror.intel.com/13799/eng/ChipUtil.exe

*u need to installed drivers all by yourself and only drivers for vista is provided in hp websites.

4. Install the video driver
http://downloadmirror.intel.com/14388/a08/win2k_xp14311.exe

5. Install the chipset driver
http://downloadmirror.intel.com/13499/a08/infinst_autol.exe

6. Ethernet Driver - Realtek RTL8100CL/RTL8110Sb NIC Driver
ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp30001-30500/sp30156.exe

After installing several driver u will found that u still dun have sound on your notebook.
for Audio, it will be abit troublesome..

7. Microsoft uAA driver (install first)
Conexant High-Definition Audio Driver (install later)

After that, goto
>Control Panel> System> Hardware> Device Manager
> under 'Sound,Video and Games controller'
> for those with yellow question mark, right click,
'Update driver'
*Don’t let installation wizard do any thing on its own. Don’t let Windows to search for drivers*

> Install from a list or specific location,
> Don't search I will choose the driver to install,
> click 'HaveDisk'
> .inf (look for .inf file
)
> Ignore XP when it complains.
> Reboot

That's all we need to do :) after all it will be no problem..
u can install your antivirus, microsoft office, and enjoy your day :D
